 Training is essential for your dog's mental development. It can be done formally or informally, and unless you live in a vacuum, behavior will develop. Through training we can mold your dog's behavior into a desirable asset.
 Behavioral problems are the primary reasons pets are turned into shelters, according to the latest statistics. Statistics also reveal using aggressive training methods increases the potential for development of aggressive behavior. Trust is the key word in the methods used at FROM THE HEART, however, trust must be earned by and from your dog. During class you will work hard, play games, laugh, and learn. But most importantly, you will form a bond with your pet.

FINALLY, after many fits and starts they are here. The first annual From the Heart Dog Training calendar is here. This is no ordinary calendar, you probably know most, if not all, the dogs. All are daycare or training dogs of From the Heart Dog Training. Pick yours up now only $25.00, be sure to ask how your favorite dog can be in the 2010 calendar.
Did you know that all fees for nail trims, ear cleaning, re-cycling go to our medical fund? Last year we assisted owners of 12 dogs/cats with medical expenses. Most were subsidized spay and neutering but there were two cases where we contributed to medical emergencies. Bring us your cans and plastic bottles and we'll add your re-cycling money to the medical fund. Thanks, as always, for your continuing patronage. We feel blessed to know all of you.
Don't forget we are a drop off point for Annie's Blankets, too. Spring cleaning? Just tired of your blankets and towels.... bring them to us and we'll be sure they get a new use, keeping dogs and cats warm and comfortable.
